I hope you all doing well and back to normal life. I must say I was honored to be part of the missionary. Although I am originally from Kenya, I have never been a nurse in Kenya. This was an eye opener on how under privileged some human beings are in some parts of the world. I was really touched by those young mothers who could only whisper their problems as they felt embarrassed and had chosen to live with the issue. As a triage Nurse during the mission, I appreciated everyone and everything we accomplished as a team. I look forward to the Phillipine trip, south America and many more.

This medical mission has been an amazing experience not only for me but my community. We are so thankful for what the team from the United States has done. Every time I walk out, people grab me and tell me, please tell your team how grateful we are for what they have done for our community. Some people who haven't seen a doctor in a very long time are being checked, and we are seeing cases of very high blood pressure that they didn’t know they had. They come out very thankful, and I just want to say how thankful we are as a community. May God bless you all.
